Sale staff and upper Operations staff, as well as Executive levels have their plates full when it comes to Expos and Conferences. We represent you at these local and national events as if we are you, providing the networking attendees and the general floor attendees with access to your narrative without you having to source your staff for this role. So there is no need remove them from their most important work – Client Relations and Client Development. We do your Corporate Branding and Marketing for you. We also provide similar representation at any/all local trade and transportation association meetings, luncheons/dinner and networking events your company may be active in or want your narrative brought to.

Helping to Create B2B Relationships:
We help bring companies together. Connecting Service Providers with End Users and vice versa. We have extensive knowledge of many members of the supply chain. Truckers, Marine Terminal Operators, Warehouses, Port Authorities, 3PLs, CH Brokers, Freight Forwarders, Risk Management providers, Truck and Heavy Equipment providers, Software and Digital Equipment Service providers, Electric Vehicle providers, EV Charging and Electrical Infrastructure providers, etc. Anyone who is looking to connect with anyone, we are here to help serve you – to make the right connections for you happen.

Operational Performance:
We analyze your operating system (OS), look for better usage. We look at driver and tractor usage and management to ensure optimal utilization is achieved and maintained. From a third-party perspective and third set of eyes on operations, issues and potential improvements can be more noticeable, and therefore resolved or applied. This also benefits your AR/AP Collections and overall P&L.

Efficiency Improvement:
In cooperation with Operational Performance, we look at total efficiency. This means developing a strategic understanding on how to improve your efficiencies on Warehouse usage, Trucking, Dispatch, Billing, Receiving, Equipment utilization, Employee roles, abilities, cross-training and identifying best talents.

Cost Savings:
As we look into your Operational Performance, we identify potential Cost Savings measures we can recommended be implemented. This can include, Per Diem, Demurrage, Detention, Chassis Fees, Flip Fees, Pre-pull and Drop fees, Storage Fees, Fuel surcharges and many more. We also analyze staff functions and identify where improvements can be made to maximize employee productivity. All this leads to a larger EBITDA for your company.

Fleet Management:
Having over 20 years in Drayage Management and 11 years in Chassis Fleet Management, we know truck fleet safety and chassis fleet safety. Most importantly, we know fleet compliance, (State and Federal), prime fleet utilization, driver safety, driver education and more.

In his career, Don has presented a Drayage Container Street Turn platform to the Federal Maritime Commission, then to the US House committee on Transportation & Infrastructure and the House Sub-Committee on Maritime Transportation, all in support of President Obama’s National Export Initiative Executive Order No. 1353 and subsequent US House Fact Finding Investigation No. 26 – Vessel Capacity and Equipment Availability in the US Export and Import Liner Trades.
He was asked to be a voice on the State of California’s Dept of Agriculture and Dept of Transportation’s Improvement of Exports Transportation Advisory Committee.
Don has also worked as an Advisor to the Federal Transportation Research Board on their Special Report No. 352: Intermodal Chassis Provisioning And Supply Chain Efficiency and Equipment Availability.
Don also has direct experience with CARB and CalSTA. He has continuously worked with the Port of LA’s Executive Director and team, the Port of Long Beach’s CEO and team, as well as being a strong voice on their joint Supply Chain Optimization Core Advisory Committee. He has also been an advisor on the Port of Oakland’s Port Efficiency Task Force, and the Seattle/Tacoma Northwest Seaport Alliance’s Port Executive Director’s Advisory Council. Lastly, he held a seat on Long Beach Mayor Richardson’s Port Round-table Advisory Board.
